• Low Income

Nationally, there is a shortage of more than 7 million affordable homes for our nation's 10.8 million plus extremely low-income families.

Each year the shortage gets worse; and that’s why people are homeless in our country and why families struggle to pay for groceries and visits to their doctor.

Everwhere renters working full-time at or above minimum wage struggle to afford a two-bedroom apartment.

  • Re-entry & Veterans

Thousands of people are released from Florida prisons each year. Many more are released from local jails or are on community control. However, as formerly incarcerated and at risk individuals attempt to get their lives back on track and reenter the workforce, they face challenges and do not have the resources to navigate them.

We also provide housing to Veterans who are experiencing homelessness, receiving mental health treatment or in recovery from substance abuse.

  • Domestic Violence

Bethany Life was born from the darkness of domestic violence with the mission to help victims break the silence and be free.

Bethany Life provides safe and affordable housing to victims of domestic violence and adults with a range of intellectual and physical abilities. We offer a broad range of amenities to enjoy an independent way of life.

Housing is the key to reducing intergenerational poverty and increasing economic mobility. Research shows that increasing access to affordable housing is the most cost-effective strategy for reducing childhood poverty and increasing economic mobility in the United States. Bethany Life is
committed housing and social justice advocacy in Leon county and surrounding areas.
